Welcome to GTA Counselling

Discover your strength within

Online counselling brings flexibility and convenience to therapy. Through secure video platforms, you can receive the same level of professional support from the comfort of your own space, without needing to travel. Online sessions are perfect for those with busy schedules, limited mobility, or anyone who feels most comfortable engaging in therapy from their home.

Online Counselling

Experience the benefits of in-person counselling in a private, comfortable, and supportive setting. Face-to-face sessions allow for a personal connection and offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. This option is ideal if you prefer a traditional approach to therapy and value the immediacy of being physically present with your counsellor.

Telephone counselling offers a discreet and accessible way to receive support, with the added benefit of being able to talk from anywhere you feel most at ease. This option is ideal if you prefer a voice-only connection or have limited internet access, providing you with professional guidance in a flexible and accessible format.

Telephone Counselling

My counselling approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. I believe in the strength of person-centred therapy, where clients are viewed as the experts of their own lives. My sessions provide a safe, supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgement.

I integrate my extensive training and practical experience with a deep understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. Whether you’re navigating a personal crisis, seeking support for ongoing mental health issues, or looking to improve your overall well-being, I am here to help.

Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainability. I have successfully managed projects aimed at educating children and adults about health and wellness, and I enjoy staying active and engaged in my community. I speak English, Romanian, and Spanish, which helps me connect with a broader range of clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some common questions to help you understand my services and approach to therapy. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out—I’m here to support you.

It can be challenging to know the right time to seek support, but there are a few common signs that it might be beneficial. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress, experiencing persistent feelings of sadness or anxiety, struggling with relationships, or finding it difficult to cope with day-to-day life, counselling could offer you valuable support. Therapy can also be helpful if you’re going through a major life transition, feeling “stuck,” or simply wanting to understand yourself better and improve your overall well-being.

Remember, there’s no “right” time to start therapy—any time you feel ready to explore new ways to manage your feelings or challenges is a good time to seek support. If you’re unsure, reaching out for a free 15 minute consultation can help you understand if therapy is the right step for you.

I offer person-centred therapy, a compassionate and client-led approach that places you at the center of the therapeutic process. In person-centred therapy, the focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel fully heard and understood. Rather than directing the session, I work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

This approach is highly effective for those seeking greater self-understanding, personal growth, and ways to overcome life’s challenges. By focusing on your unique perspective and strengths, person-centred therapy empowers you to find solutions that resonate with your values and aspirations.

I offer three types of services to suit your needs:

In-Person Counselling in a private, supportive setting,

Online Counselling through secure video sessions, and

Telephone Counselling for convenient, voice-only support.

Each option is designed to provide flexibility and comfort based on your preferences.

The length of therapy varies depending on your personal goals, needs, and circumstances. Some people find that a few sessions are enough to address a specific issue, while others may benefit from longer-term support to explore deeper patterns and make lasting changes. Typically, therapy sessions are held weekly and last for 50 minutes, though the overall duration is flexible and can be adjusted as needed.

We can begin with an initial set of sessions, and then review progress and goals every 6 sessions to ensure that the support remains aligned with your needs. This regular check-in allows us to adjust the pace or focus of therapy based on what feels most helpful to you. Ultimately, therapy is a personal journey, and you have control over deciding how long you’d like to continue.
